Meet Ryan Van Wagenen, the Owner and Founder of a Leading Technology Consulting Group
April 15, 2024
Ryan Van Wagenen founded his own technology consulting group in 2008. His company is focused on advising his corporate and individual clients on properly branding their businesses. Ryan typically operates with 10-15 clients at a time. Some of his most notable current and past clients include:
– Multiple CEOs of Small and Mid Cap Corporations
– CFO of a Fortune 500 Company
– Former Dean of Admissions of an Ivy League University
– Owner of a Professional Basketball Team
– New York Times Bestselling Author
– Founder of a ~$2 billion dollar technology company
In addition to being a consultant, Ryan works closely with his local church in Florida to give back as much as possible in the community. This is very important to him; Ryan and his wife have made a serious effort to pass on these charitable traits to their four children as well.
Ryan also enjoys guest lectures at his alma mater, University of Central Florida.
In February 2008, Ryan made the tough decision to leave his initial career in private equity. This was a tough decision, but Van Wagenen was able to use the skills he had learned in business and writing to start his consulting company. This took a great leap of faith, but has paid off drastically. Another huge benefit of the move has been working from home and being able to spend so much time with his wife and children.
Ryan Van Wagenen was born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. At 18 years old, he moved to the sunshine state to study at University of Central Florida. He would end up graduating cum laude in psychology with minors in sociology and English. Post graduation, Ryan moved back to South Carolina briefly to work with a family friend in private equity before missing the warm weather and settling back in Florida. This would turn out to be the best decision he made as he found his wife and they’ve been married for 10+ years now.
Ryan is also a highly committed and dedicated church volunteer in his local community. He has a strong spiritual service record and an extraordinary work ethic. Van Wagenen’s church work has blessed him with an ability to motivate volunteer groups for fundraising charity work. He has participated in a variety of outreach mission efforts with family and friends in the community.
Darin is a wonderful person. He is very nice and always willing to help out! He loves his job because it lets him share interesting things with people who want to know about new developments in the world of technology.
